Additional Info.

"The original title of the drama Extracurricular was Extremely Dislike. Writer Jin Han-sae initially considered this title to avoid glorifying or trivializing the crime of facilitating youth prostitution. However, due to concerns that it might leave a negative impression on viewers, director Kim Jin-min suggested the title Extracurricular. The English title, Extracurricular, refers to lessons or activities outside of the formal school curriculum. Director Kim Jin-min wanted to include the word ""class"" in the title and chose ""human"" as a neutral noun, ultimately leading to the finalized title Human Class in Korean. Writer Jin Han-sae revealed that the idea for this drama stemmed from his experiences while studying abroad in New Zealand. During his time there, he once witnessed a student parking his car in a park behind the school to sell cigarettes to friends. The student’s bored expression and the way he counted money made Jin feel as though the student lived in an entirely different world. Later, he came across an article about organized crime led by high school students, which further inspired him to develop the storyline of Extracurricular based on these observations and memories."
