​"The drama ""Imitation"" deviates significantly from its original webtoon. The number of central characters was reduced, and adjustments were made to character development and the storyline. For example, while SHAX had nine members in the webtoon, the drama trimmed the number to six. Additionally, the drama introduced Jun Min-seong, a character not found in the original work. Given the time gap between the webtoon's initial release in 2014 and the drama's debut in 2021, such adaptations were necessary. Even the original creator, Park Kyung-ran, positively evaluated these changes.
