​"Grid was initially known as 'Zero (0)' during the early stages of planning but was changed to its current title during production. The title, Grid, refers to the global shield that saved humanity from the explosion of solar wind. Director Riggan, who directed the show, explained in an interview, 'The story starts with a murder case at a convenience store, but it gradually grows larger, expanding into a problem that affects humanity as a whole.' He emphasized that the core of Grid lies in how an individual event evolves into a narrative directly tied to the survival of humanity."​
