Additional Info.

"As the dreamlike element of magic enters the harsh reality, Annarasumanara explores deeper questions about the meaning of life and the nature of true happiness. The webtoon employs achromatic tones to reflect the dark reality of its characters' lives, contrasting this with vibrant bursts of color during moments of magic. This visual technique underscores the idea that magic is not merely a fantastical element but a powerful symbol of hope and faith hidden within people's hearts. The Netflix adaptation of Annarasumanara, produced as an original Korean drama, gained significant attention for being the platform's first musical drama. Departing from the webtoon's predominantly achromatic palette, the drama embraces vibrant and bright colors, offering a visually striking contrast to the original work. Additionally, most of the magic scenes in the drama were created using real-life illusions rather than CGI, adding a layer of authenticity. The magic sequences were directed by renowned illusionists Lee Eun-gyeol, Choi Hyo-won, and PH, further enhancing the magical realism of the story. Following the release of the drama, writer Ha Il-kwon expressed immense satisfaction with the adaptation, praising it as a work that ""exceeded expectations and surpassed imagination."" This acknowledgment from the creator underscores the success of the adaptation in preserving the essence of the original while delivering a unique and memorable visual and emotional experience."
