Additional Info.

"Bait is a work adapted from the infamous Ponzi scheme that occurred in South Korea. A Ponzi scheme is a multi-level financial fraud where new investors' money is used to pay returns to existing investors, making it an unsustainable structure without actual profits. The Ponzi scheme is named after Charles Ponzi, an Italian financier. Ponzi once worked as a banker in Montreal, where the bank offered unusually high interest rates on deposits. However, it was later revealed that the interest was not paid from the bank’s earnings but rather from the deposits of new customers. Naturally, the bank collapsed, but the bank president fled with the money, was arrested, and sentenced to three years in prison. Having witnessed this firsthand, Charles Ponzi realized that ""the key is to take the accumulated money and run before it collapses,"" which led him to devise the Ponzi scheme."
