​The original work was based on the BL (Boys’ Love) genre. However, when adapted for the screen, the series was transformed into a fantasy human drama with nearly all BL elements removed. This change was made to broaden its genre accessibility. Nevertheless, subtle traces of BL themes remain evident in the dialogue and character interactions, allowing keen viewers to pick up on these undertones within the story.​
