For instance, in the original, a demon separated from its body would allow the original soul to continue living in the mortal world. However, this concept was changed in Season 2. Additionally, a new concept was introduced where souls in a comatose state are trapped in the ""White Ground,"" conflicting with the original depiction of comatose souls.
