​"Glutton and Furry was an entirely unplanned project that began when Noh Hong-cheol shared his camping experience with Rain with producer Kim Tae-ho. Inspired by Noh Hong-cheol's recommendation, Kim Tae-ho became curious about Rain and decided to develop the program. Producer Kim Tae-ho also described working with Netflix as “like preparing a Korean banquet after only making fast food,” highlighting his focus on gaining production experience in a new media environment."​
